This time her short laugh was slightly choked and Leia wrapped her arms around Han and hugged him tightly, hoping that she wasn't causing him too much pain in doing so. Normally she would have been much more careful, but for that moment she just wanted to feel him close. It did scare her, the idea that she might be like Vader in any way. She had a temper on her, they all knew that, and apparently a strong connection to the Force. How easy would it be for her to fall into the Dark Side?
And yet this man, this gorgeous and often infuriating man was there and telling her she wasn't tainted because of her bloodline. "I love you." There was so much feeling in her tone that even a blind man couldn't have missed how much she meant it. She did love him, fiercely and passionately, with all her heart.
"As long as we're together we can do anything." She believed it too. Having him in her life made her stronger and braver, he brought out the best in her.
"You feel ready to keep moving yet? I want to introduce you to the others when you're up to it. And I know you've still got some injuries that need looking at, I'm from your future, I know these things." There was a hint of teasing in her tone. "I also want to kiss you some place a lot more comfortable."
