WHO: Bella and Jacob WHEN: Tuesday afternoon WHERE: Golf Cart Bay WHAT: Bella comes to see Jacob after work RATING: TBD STATUS: Incomplete
Bella made her way down across the hotel grounds towards the Golf Cart workshop. She'd been making sure to walk the other way back to the cabins for weeks now. She didn't want to make anything more difficult for Jacob than it already was. It had hurt her to see Jacob with Leah for all those months, and she couldn't really say she was sorry that this Jacob didn't feel the same way, but she didn't want Leah to get hurt.
Still, after talking to Jacob on the comm earlier that day, she just couldn't go on pretending he wasn't there. Okay, so she had feelings for him which she hadn't realised existed until she came here, but he was still her best friend, and from what she could gather, he was having a hard time settling in. She wanted to help him if she could. There was no reason why they couldn't hang out like the old days. Jake would, no doubt, sort things out with Leah, and that would be that.
Clearing her throat, Bella rounded the corner and walked into the workshop, ducking to avoid a plastic spider hanging from the doorway. "Hey," she called out, stuffing her hands into the pockets of her brown overcoat.
