"Well, I'm a very trustworthy guy," he said, half joking. But what he'd said to Gabriel was true. The act worked. People were more likely to spill their secret to the friendly, joking guy than the serious, intelligent one.
"If I get up first? Sounds simple enough..." He trailed off, not moving just yet. Sounded easy, sure. But, it was warm right here. With his feet he kicked the blankets down a little bit, trying to ignore the cold air that moved across his bare skin. Shifting her gently off of him he sat up. "One of these days we're going to have to spend a whole day in bed, I think," he mused as he swung round so his feet were hanging off the side of the bed, snagging up his boxers where they lay on the ground and pulling them on.
