A look of realisation dawned on Teddy's face. "Merlin's beard! Are you Sirius Black?!" He'd seen pictures, but this must be a really young Sirius, younger than most of the photos he'd seen. Besides, he'd come to learn that photographs were no replacement for the real thing. That was partly why he was so excited to be living in a place where he might one day be able to meet his parents.
Teddy held out his hand to the younger man. It was strange to think that this man was the same age as his father, yet here he was looking fresh faced and youthful. Still at that moment, Teddy couldn't have cared less about dates and ages. He was thrilled to meet the legendary Sirius. Harry had told him so much about the man, and Teddy had grown up believing he would never know his father's best friend, but here he was. "I'm Teddy Lupin," he introduced himself. "Remus's son." He grinned.
