Vic couldn't help but smile at his whining. She knew he was handsome. To her, he was the most handsome man out there, but he was a bit much to deal with for her sister and cousins when he was bigheaded. She thought it was endearing at times, but she had to think of Dom and Izzy, who would have to live with him too. "You might like yourself bigheaded, but the rest of the world doesn't," she laughed out just before he said they were the perfect pair.
Then there was the kiss, which she returned, as passionately as she could muster, but it still didn't measure up to the otherworldly kisses they used to share before. She could feel that he was hesitant as he laid her down beneath him. Her eyes had been shut since his lips had touched hers, but she opened them and pulled her mouth away from his for a second, eying him, without speaking, and her hand finding its way to the side of his face. She had been trying to guage how important this was to him. She wanted to, she really did, but she wasn't sure if she could block out the memories yet.
