He watched her as she stepped up to make her shot. Her stance was good, she had no problems there. She didn't rush her shot, which was something else in her favour. In fact, all things considered, she'd done quite well.
"For someone who has not done it in a few years, that was a good shot," he replied kindly. He handed her another arrow. "In my limited understanding of guns, with their greater force, your aim does not need to take in to account the fall of the projectile, as in archery," he said, demonstrating with his hand what he meant as he explained. "It does not stay on a straight path to the target." He gestured to the target for her to give it another try.
"Heather mentioned that you are a scientist," he commented as he fired at the target beside hers.
