Who: Jack Skellington and X-23 What: Hide and Seek Where: All over the place When: Afternoon Rating: PG-13
Jack was actually looking forward to something. Something that wasn’t scaring someone, which surprised him a bit. Talking to this girl, Laura, it seemed as though they’d started something of a playful friendship. Starting out with a game of hide and seek. It seemed simple enough. Throw off the tracker and see how long it would take for her to find him. Of course, Jack had his own tricks. She didn’t say anything about not using powers, just to not hide in the bottom of the lake. Easy enough. Especially when he didn’t have to travel by everyone else’s standards.
Being able to hop from closet to closet or under beds was useful, as he’d proven a time or two when he just wanted to get away from someone or a pack of fan girls. So with that in mind, he left a note for her for which cabin to start from, his own obviously, and set to work. First he grabbed a pair of fresh clothes and got to work. He knew there was going to be lots of dirt and water involved so he needed to dress for it. His combat boots, worn skinny jeans, black button up shirt tucked in and the sleeves rolled up to his elbows with matching vest and tie.
Jack was all about presentation as well as practicality. Mostly anyways. Grabbing a few things, a couple of shirts and ties, he set to work. Thankfully it was his day off so he would have plenty of time to wind his way around the resort. Running past guests and other employees, he ran the trails and the little paths as well around the resort tossing clothes off a ways not really concerned about someone taking them. It would be in his interest anyways to stay hidden. Doing a few laps around the entire resort he ended with a dunk in the lake.
Running full speed off the docks, Jack went feet first into the water and let himself slowly sink to the bottom before he started to go back towards the surface again, pulling himself out. Dumping his boots of water real quick, he was off again. Keeping up his fast pace he went to the theatre and jogged in there, still soaking wet and ducked into a closet before coming out in one in the main hotel. Grinning ear to ear, he walked briskly through the cool interior and back out into the sun and was off again. Finally he settled on his hiding place.
Easily jumping up and into a tree near the edge of the woods by the coffee and juice bar, he found himself a perch and set about to waiting patiently for the woman to find him.
