Who: Jack Skellington and Sam Winchester What: Talking down a desperate man, of sorts. Where: Outside Jack's cabin. When: Early evening Rating: TBD, probably high
Things were getting frustrating for Jack. They didn’t seem to be going the way he wanted, the scares weren’t scaring anyone, mainly because no one was seeing them! He’d have to step it up a notch and put them closer to the cabins. As much as he’d liked to scare the guests, it probably wasn’t such a good idea. So to harass and get his thrills from scaring his fellow employees, he set to work thinking up plans to see what would scare people. As easy as it would be to merely just put spiders and rats in cabins, it would have to be bigger and more gruesome.
He’d already hung himself, drowned himself, what else could he do? He could always stab himself and rush out of his cabin and hope people were there. Hmmm. . .That could be done later when there really was people around that he could for certain get to. Back to the drawing board. Well maybe he could hang himself again, this time in a different spot. One where more people come through that way they would be sure to see him. Jack hated doing the same trick twice, but there was only so much he could work with and just slicing himself up on a chance someone might see him wasn’t going to cut it.
So grabbing the rope from before, he picked out what would be best to wear. It was almost like getting ready for a date. Casual or dressy? Maybe a bit of both? A pair of combat boots laced up under black pinstripe slacks with a white button up tucked in. The shirt sleeves rolled up with a black vest buttoned up and a tie matching the slacks to finish it off. It wasn’t like he could do anything with his hair, the black inky mop was always in disarray and off putting.
Rope in hand, he began to easily scale his cabin. It was high enough that if he just jumped off the very tippy top that he’d be able to just snap his neck easily and just wait for someone to come find him and get him down. Easy peasey, pumpkin easy. Getting up was the easy part, now all he had to work on was getting the rope to stay while he hung. Easy enough. Scooting to the edge of the rood, he found the main support beam that jutted out just enough for him to tie the rope around securely. Yes! I was all coming into plan. As he started to work on the noose though he saw someone coming.
Success! Now was the time to put on a show. Being an actor of sorts, Jack summoned up tears and forced himself to sob. Part of it was acting, exaggerating a bit. His shoulder shaking as the warm tears ran down his face and the crying noises came easily after a few moments. He was a desperate man that was desperate to get home, or at least that was what he was playing. Working on the noose more, his quick fingers making it simply by memory, waiting for the other to get closer to see and maybe try to talk him down even. Oh yes, this was going to be fun.
