The small smile she had on her face flickered, and she looked down at her good. A girl. Not like a grandmother, but possibly just as important. "Just before I arrived her my grandmother was killed because of a situation I pushed her toward." granted, it was indirectly the vampires fault that it had even happened. They'd forced it on them, but Bonnie had pushed for the final spell. The vampires had caused her death and she died for nothing. "It was someone else's fault, but she could be alive it I had of been able to take care of myself." and had of been able to kick the vampires ass, or stop them in their tracks like she could now.
"I'm sorry about your...friend." she added, not really knowing what 'girl' meant, past that he had probably cared for her a lot. "But I know landing here after losing someone really doesn't help much." it meant they couldn't go about their lives, couldn't even really fully move on when they had these stupid jobs that required minimal thought.
