Bella heard him move across the kitchen towards the kettle and glanced up at him. His back was most definitely as irresistable as his front. If she just reached out and... No! No arse grabbing!
"Thanks," she said a little breathlessly, crossing the space between them to look down at the boiling water in the kettle. She didn't know what he'd done, and right now she didn't care. All that mattered was that she was right beside him now, close enough to touch, close enough that his scent filled her head sending shivers through her.
"It's strange," she said, looking up at him, licking her lips involuntarily. "I'm not hungry all of a sudden..." At least, not for food. Her stomach twisting slighty, she moved to stand between him and the worksurface, facing him, looking up into his beautiful blue eyes.
"I don't think we ever met properly before," she said, her voice taking on an unfamiliar seductive quality. This was not good. She was flirting in a way she didn't even know how to do! "I'm Bella," she said, holding out her hand to him. It was an effort to actually hold out her hand and not just run it over his perfect chest.
