Clark sighed, shaking his head. It would seem he was right. Human beings really were quite the impatient lot. But he could sort of understand. He had been mortal once. He noticed the way she stared at him. He wasn't dumb, he knew that look full well. But unfortunately he had to be careful about that. "I most certainly can," he said in response, pointing at the kettle. His ego already shot up a few notches. And he thought on it, and of course she liked his looks. Who wouldn't? He was like a god after all.
His enhanced hearing picked up on her heartbeat, noting the quickened pace of it. And he saw her blush. He moved toward the stove, his back slightly to her and stared down at the kettle. He would use heat vision, but nothing visible. His eyes had an orange hue and the kettle's water began to boil. Normally, this would have taken ten minutes. His eyes were blue again as he turned around to face Bella, gesturing to the stove. "There.. it's ready. You can start cooking now."
