Clark hadn't a clue that he wasn't himself. Yes, he was refraining from seeking out anyone for lustful encounters. He wasn't destroying property or stealing things. He wasn't vulgar in talking to people. However.. there was one flaw. He was slightly more in confidence with himself. Like, a lot. He was usually sure of himself anyway. But this.. well. It was so much more. He knew he could handle anything thrown at him. That much was probably true, in fact. Except it expanded his ego. More than needed. He thought nothing of boasting about his prowess, of listing all his talents, if asked about it. Heck, no one could beat him! He survived so much in the past. He could probably jake on James too if he became a threat. Or any angels if they got some bad ideas. Of course it would be a big epic fight and he might get slightly hurt. But honestly, he was a Kryptonian. Formerly one of the most advanced civilizations. And due to his powers, he could just about kick anyone's ass and take some names. Not that he thought names were much important anyway. Just kicking ass would suffice, then.
With a smirk on his face, he wandered down to the kitchen of his cabin. He didn't need to go to work for a while. He noticed a woman.. Bella. Seemed she lived here with him too. He could feel her impatience that was very obvious. Humans, he thought with a sigh, always want it now. Bet I could get things done faster. He spoke up then, "The kettle not heating quickly enough? Maybe I could fix that." In fact, he knew he could! He could do anything. And if he could help his roommate with her food, then he might just get more brownie points with people here.
