Quinn was glad that Puck hadn't tried to move back next to her. She really couldn't deal with this--with him, right now. It had been a mistake to give in and let him be here. But he was so damn stubborn and really that was why she was even in this position in the first place. If he would have taken no for an answer the first time, she would have never slept with him.
"Fine," she said when he asked if she wanted him to look at the sticks. Even though she didn't want him there, she wasn't in any rush to look at them. If he gave her the answer she wanted, she wouldn't have to look at all. And if he gave her... that other answer, she could look then just to see that he was lying. That would be enough for her to kick him out anyway. Then she would win.
