"Well you insisted on being here, didn't you?" Quinn asked him before turning and walking up the stairs. At this point she didn't really care if he followed her to her room or stayed downstairs. She should have just taken the test and waited for him to read the results. At least then this would be almost over and he would be on his way again. What possessed her to wait to even start until he got there?
Nerves. She was really scared to take the tests, so waiting on him seemed like a good excuse to prolong it, but now that he was there, she just wanted him gone. Maybe he really would wait downstairs while she waited for the results.
She walked over to her bed and picked up the two boxes to read over the instructions. Well it wasn't too bad. One would tell in three minutes and the other in two minutes. So if she took one at a time, he could be out in five minutes max. That was easy enough, right?
She turned toward the door to see if he had even bothered to follow or if she should just go to the bathroom and get started.
