She stayed right at the doorframe, still determined, but not sure if she should have just walked in. She wanted to walk closer to him. She wanted to touch him, to hug him, but how could she with what she had done to him. She looked toward the window, avoiding his gaze for a few seconds, before looking back to him, the look in her eye still there.
She then got up the nerve to do what she intended, it had taken a few seconds, but she got there. She walked over to his bed and sat down on the corner furthest from him. "Teddy, what's happening here?" She needed to know. She needed to know if he didn't love her anymore. She needed to know if she should ask for another room assignment. If he didnt' love her anymore, she wouldn't be able to see him everyday without breaking down. To walk past a door she knew he was behind.
