And Rachel - he liked Rachel, she was kinda crazy, but she was his Rachel, and he was hers, and they had done things together that he'd only thought about doing with Quinn, and it all just felt so wrong. He cared about Rachel and Rachel cared about him, she had for a long time, she re-joined glee even after learning that he was just using her.
