"No idea," Severus answered with a slight shrug. "I've been here less than a week, myself, and I've only seen my first patient this morning. Just a cut, and not even a bad one, at that. But if you are hit with a Dark spell or two, I'm the man to sort it out."
He smiled the second time she tried to edit the profanity from her speech. In spite of his posh accent (courtesy of the Malfoys), and his extensive vocabulary, he had sworn like a sailor as a boy, himself. Which made the transition to teaching interesting, to say the least, so he understood entirely.
"I grew up in a very rough part of Manchester," he told her, with a chuckle. "I assure you that the occasional swear word will not wound my delicate ears."
