Vic put her head in her hands, covering her face and the tears that were undoubtedly coming back from his words. "I can't get those images out of my own head and I was there.." She mumbled through her hands. She wished she could just forget it all, forget what happened, or find a timeturner and go back and save herself from it, but she knew she couldn't do any of that, and it wouldn't make it better. If she used the timeturner for that, something else would go even worse and Teddy might not even be standing there giving it a try.
"I don't know, Teddy. Can we just pretend this happened before we got back together? I know I'm not the only girl you've been with." She didn't want to add the other sentence on the end, it would only add more to his anger. She was pleading with him now. He knew she loved him and if she could help it, she wouldn't hurt him for anything. He was her first love, and only love, as far as she was concerned. "I don't know, Teddy, but I miss you. I don't want him to get between us and let this turn into another couple of years we spend apart."
