As Bella lingered in his arms, he could smell her sweet scent and he smiled…loving just how relaxed and at home he felt being near her. He felt the soft kiss on her lips and he graciously accepted it, returning it gently. Since their time apart, he tried to be more open to their physical relationship and he had to admit…it wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. He moved to the side as she peered in the cabin, watching her inhale the intoxicating scent of the steak dinner he had made.
Hearing her question, he couldn’t help but smile as he led her into the warm cabin, closing the door quietly behind her. “This...” He spoke, leading her into the dining room where he had carefully decorated the entire table. A red table cloth was draped nicely over the table. He had taken the leaves of the table out to make it smaller since it was only the two of them there. Small heart confetti was carefully scattered over the tablecloth mixed in with a few Hershey’s kisses…for the perfect romantic touch. The vanilla candles were lit and provided the source of light for the room, giving it a dim and calming atmosphere. Two places at the table were set; of course…only one had food. But it appeared to be a dinner for two. “…is for you, Miss Swan.”
He turned to her as he stood beside her, one of his arms wrapped around her back. He smiled down at her, hoping she liked what she saw. He knew she hated it when he did crazy romantic things for her, but he couldn’t help it…he wanted her to have everything and experience everything. “A romantic dinner for two.” He whispered, pulling her to his side and kissing the side of her head softly. He then moved to her side of the table and pulled out the chair, being a gentleman as he smiled charmingly towards her…his golden eyes never leaving hers.
