Who: Alice Cullen and OPEN
What: Hunting
When: Dusk
Where: The woods around the resort
Warnings: Blood and violence. She is hunting, after all.
Alice waited until the daylight was fading before stalking out into the woods, lacking a little of her usual gusto at the thought of a hunt. She realized that she could have asked her brother or one of her shapeshifter friends to join her, but the tiny vampire wasn't really feeling up to company. If Jasper couldn't hunt with her because that damned Petersen thought it best to send him home, then she would just hunt alone. It was the only way she could think of to vent some of her frustration, short of ripping the managers throat out with her bare hands and teeth. Just the thought of that made her eyes turn blacker and she hurried her steps out into the trees, hoping to find a large enough animal before her anger drove her to the managers office instead of out here.
Despite the puddles everywhere and the fact that she was hunting, Alice was dressed in ballet flats, leggings, and a pale blue dress, a light scarf draped loosely around her neck. She looked more ready for a trip to the mall than a hunt. The psychic vampire stood still once reaching the center of the woods, closing her eyes and breathing in the scent. She focused on her own future, trying to see what would come her way and if she would be successful. She saw a deer. That would be large enough. She opened her eyes which still shone black and began to track the deer she'd had the vision of herself attacking. Her footsteps were completely silent.
When she found the animal, she tracked it for awhile, watching it from the shadows. The animal knew something was wrong, it could sense a predator, but with no sound to give herself away, Alice had practically already won this battle. With inhuman speed, she leaped from her hiding spot and was on the animal before it could even register the movement. It tried to run, but the petite vampire was faster, latching on to the creature's neck with her teeth and opening it up. The blood flowed freely over her mouth and down her neck, ruining her dress, but Alice loved shopping as much as she loved hunting. It was a win-win, she thought. She drank deeply from the animal, looking almost more like an animal herself than a person. She had never tasted human blood, so this animal would be perfectly satisfying for her. The animal's legs twitched until Alice had drained it too far.
At least she could keep herself from killing the manager for a little longer with her hunger sated like this.
