Arwen smiled with just a hint of humour when Bella said she did that a lot. It was a human thing, she was sure. Her brother's had teased Aragorn mercilessly when he was younger for the very same thing, even if by human standards he was incredibly sure footed. She felt a pang of longing at the thought of her beloved.
"Oh." Was all Arwen could think to say in response. She came to a stop for a moment, eyes passing once more over their surroundings. It would explain the strange lack of connection she felt to this place. At home, she was connected to the earth, to the trees and to everything around her. Here, that was absent. "A story. In another world." Where was her Father? Only he would be able to provide her with the answers she needed.
"Well," she smiled at Bella. "I suppose I must make the best of it whilst I am here," she said as they continued walking.
