Bella laughed slightly, not sure how to reply to the compliment. "Er, thank you, I think," she said as Arwen caught her arm. "Don't worry, I do that a lot." She never had been able to walk in a straight line for too long without tripping over something. It was more about damage limitation than anything else.
"Er... no," she said at Arwen's question. How could she explain this? "You know you come from Middle Earth, right..." she began. "Well... this isn't Middle Earth. Actually, I'm not sure what world it actually is, but it's not your world or mine. We've been bought here because, in this world, we're fictional. The people who live here have grown up with stories about us thinking we're not real..." She wondered if she should slow down. It was a lot to take in, after all. "You're life is a story in my world too. That's how I knew you. It's called The Lord of the Rings..."
