Bella was so glad the snow was over. She didn't have to focus SO hard on not falling over any more. The snow had been so hazardous for her, even more than usual, and her pale skin was covered in bruises. Still, if she tried her best not to tumble over her feet for a few days, hopefully a few of them would heal up before she went and got a few more.
Still, she was seeing Edward later, after he got back from hiking. The guests had leaped on the opportunity to get hiking as soon as the snow began to melt, so Edward had had to leave early that morning. It was a shame because she hadn't had to work until mid day. She'd just spent the morning tidying both hers and Edward's cabin before heading off to the hotel.
The afternoon had gone slowly, but there had been a steady stream of customers, so at least she'd had things to do. The lulls she'd just spent on the computer surfing the internet. That was one good thing about having a desk job.
Still, she was feeling stiff from all the sitting still. She wanted a nice warm shower before Edward came over. She fancied watching a film tonight. Nothing to do with War. Band of Brothers had been quite enough War for her for a few days. Perhaps a comedy or something. She might even be able to face a romance if Edward was with her. Still, she'd ask him when he got in later. She had definitely started relaxing more in the cabin now Edward had informed her that the vampire who'd been staying there had gone. She'd never seen him, but she hadn't liked being in the cabin alone just incase.
She was just thinking it all over when she saw someone on the path up ahead. As she neared, she raised an eyebrow, slightly taken aback at the woman's style of dress. "Erm... are you alright?" she asked, guessing the stranger might be a new member of staff.
