Damien just stared right back at him, not flinching at the least. He laughed and said, "What? Fuck that, you say? I don't know.. seems to me that's what got us into this little mess. I may not be real in your world. But I can say the same for you. The reverse is true too." He realized that Teddy was more intimidating in size and stature. Yet he was not afraid. He had strengths and talents of his own. Appearances can be deceiving after all. "I had her consent," Damien countered at the accusation, spoken with confidence as though he knew he was right. "The veela did not refuse. She did not turn me away. So, in fact.. I'm not the only guilty party. But maybe you know that in your heart. Flexing his hand as though nothing hat happened. As to the facial bruise.. he felt a tingling under his skin as it cleared up, once again flawless unblemished. "I don't think you know what you're facing, what I represent." Damien shook his head, glaring. He was the son of the first angel Lucifer. Represented his father on this plane, acted as his instrument.
"Father isn't such a bad guy once you know him. In fact, he's not the villain people make him out to be.. I know what the Bible says, but consider the sources who wrote it. In fact, it's more likely that, in addition to being an incompetent failure as well as a celestial bully, God is the villain. Given his track record in old times, that fact is obvious. However.. Lucifer really doesn't like people who attack his own. It pisses him off. In fact, it never ends well. Allow me to show you!" And at that, without warning, he waved his hand. As if on cue.. the door behind Teddy opened, swinging open as if to hit him on purpose. And at the same time? One of the overhead lamps had somehow been broke free from the ceiling and was set to fall on top of the wizard...
