Teddy made a noise of anger and frustration, thrusting her off him onto the couch. He stood up, angry, and began pacing. Something had happened between the time she'd left him in bed this morning, and now. The only place she'd been, or had time to go, was the spa. He'd kept her in bed late and she'd had to rush off. So the chances that this happened on the way were minimal, and she wasn't back late, so it must have happened while she was there. He glanced at her, making sure his face didn't give away what he was thinking.
Looking at her was painful. Spell or no spell, the way she looked was testament to what she'd been doing with her new master. It made him feel sick. Right now, he really wouldn't have minded killing something. "Yeah, well I'm glad for you," he spat, glaring at her before walking out of the room. Whoever this guy was, he was going to find him and kill him.
Loudly, Teddy stomped up the stairs to his room and slammed the door shut behind him. He wasn't going to let on what he was doing or where he was going. He knew he could get to the Spa much faster than her, and if she thought he was upstairs sulking, perhaps she wouldn't rush to follow him.
Moving much more quietly now, an effort for him when really he just wanted to throw furnature around, Teddy locked his door before crossing to the window and pushing it open. Snow was falling again, which would make matters more complicated, but he'd manage.
Shivering against the cold, he stripped naked before turning himself into the large eagle. He'd been practising flying a lot recently, mainly because there were a lot of weird people around here he might need to get away from, but he'd always gone for smaller birds. The eagle would be a challenge, but he needed a big beak in order to carry his jeans. Picking up the rough blue fabric from the floor with his beak, Teddy pushed off with his legs, stretching out his wings. He was almost too wide to fit through the window, but he managed and soon he was gliding over the trees towards the Spa. He was going to get answers, and when he did, whoever had done this to his Vic was going to be sorry.
