Who: Leah Clearwater and Jacob Black What: Christmas Snow fun Where: Outside Jake's cabin When: Backdated for Christmas afternoon Rating: TBD Status: Incomplete
Leah had gotten up that morning and just left the cabin, she wasn't sure what was going on in her head and she really wanted to figure it out before she shared in the Christmas festivities with Jake. She had snuck out in such a way that she hoped he didn't wake up, and since she hadn't heard him stir or call after her, it seemed she had succeeded, and she spent the morning walking around the lake, through the snow, in nothing but her pajamas and her bare feet. Being a wolf meant the cold didn't bother her when it touched the bare skin of her legs and arms.
She finally made it back to the cabin a little after what should have been lunchtime, and she hadn't taken her phone with her because she needed some time to think. Did she love him? She wasn't sure. She was starting to feel so strong for him that she couldn't imagine not being around him, not being able to kiss him. The problem was that she wasn't sure if she wanted to give him that power. Once she said the words, she gave him all he needed to hurt her more than anyone else ever could, even worse than Sam had, because Sam hadn't had a choice.
She didn't want to go back in yet, she collapsed into the snow, laying down to face the sky in the cold of it. She still needed to think, but at least here, he could find her if he came outside.
