Claire returned his salute and downed her drink quickly, refilling it again and definitely starting to feel a bit of the effect of it. "Yeah, I definitely don't want to think of myself as living dead anything," she shook her head. "Where I'm from, I killed the resurrected cat, so I'd rather not be it, if you catch my drift," she rolled her eyes.
Pausing when Pike described it as actually being real, just having their lives written out for them, she nodded her understanding. "Kind of like a reverse biography, in a way," she said, smiling a little more genuinely for the first time since she'd gotten here. It was a lot easier to take that way, she couldn't help but think. She was real, just not real enough to exist without a universe full of very creative people, apparently. "Thanks for that...sort of needed the smack into reality. Literally."
