Who:Heather Narrative: Robin, Marian, Allan, Tony, Rachel, Julie, Dean and George. When: Back dated to July 25th, early morning. Where: Beneath the trees in the different cabins. What: Feeling the Christmas cheer, Heather wanted to give what she could to those she had grown friendly with. Status: Complete Rating: G It was handy being little Miss-Fix-It, she could get in anywhere anytime. Without any questions. She left behind gifts for people that she felt the 'need to give' with. Even if they were brief moments of connection, or just the need to reach out and say 'someone cares'.
For Robin, she left behind a medium sized bag, holding three sizable books. One being Merriam-Websters Unabridged Dictionary, one was an urban dictionary, the last: a time life book of monumental things that happened over the past millennium. She had intended on giving them to him on her birthday, but this handy dandy holiday came up. For Marian it was harder to think of something for the Lady of Legend. She had remembered Marian saying something about making her own dress if she had the time and the fabric, this wasn't wrapped, but it was a simple pile of different bolts of fabric that Heather thought would bring out Marian's coloring nicely, silks, cottons, linens, along with a sewing kit with every colored thread imaginable.
Allan was a little more difficult. She wanted something special, something that spoke from her heart. She kind of stumbled onto it because of a guest, one of her few fans, had come up with a picture they had taken without her knowledge. It was a picture of a stolen kiss, one of the few that happened now and then. The 'fan' had said she looked so happy, she had to agree. It was perfect. She hunted down the perfect silver frame. She had also noticed the way he had touched the fabric of his tux. So she couldn't help herself when she got him a silky shirt that was in the same style of the ones he wore. The final touch was a crushed velvet coin purse, sure there was no need for it now... But again she couldn't help herself.
Tony had been nice enough the night she'd 'ran away'. She couldn't leave him out. It had been easy enough to find a NCIS cap in the gift shop. And for the hell of it she threw in a random Playboy. Why not? Every modern guy needed a collection, she knew that.
Rachel had been easy enough, she'd ordered as many music books a she could find! The girl was great, Heather adored her. And was more than happy to help her expand her horizons. If you named it, the song was in at least one of the books.
Julie had been nice enough, the one day she'd been upset and sleepless, and out on the beach all alone. She couldn't leave the girl out! So she found some cute dangling earrings and a necklace to go with them.
Dean, she couldn't imagine what it would be like to be separated from a sibling. She had gone through the guests that had been there a while, looking through the pictures they had collected. It had paid off, she found one of Sam, with Shoshanna, he was smiling, they looked happy together. There was no telling what had been going on around them when this picture had been taken. She had found a rather masculine looking frame to stick it in. Matched with a Crock of Connemara, an expensive Irish Whiskey, it made the perfect gift.
George had been a little difficult as well. But somehow she had unearthed a box with a thousand vintage pin up girl posters from the 40s. Not wanting to get him just porn, she also unearthed a few records from the 40s. Some swing, some jazz, some rock and roll.
