As he took one more step up toward her, she loosened her arms over her chest. She could touch him now if she wanted to, but she didn't, not until he apologized. When he did she took one of her hands to he side of his neck and left it there. Her whole reason for being angry wasn't the food at all, and he seemed to see that. She had been so scared, but she knew he never apologized, unless it was for her, or someone else he loved. "I know. I'm sorry too. I was just scared."
She never had a problem telling him those words, but only him. She would never admit that to anyone else. It helped that he was one of the few people in the world that could see through her, no matter how happy she pretended to be, he could always tell when she was faking it.
