His hand tightened around the hilt of his sword at the jibes about Heather as he followed Gisborne. Whether or not the other man had a purpose in leading him away from the cabins, he would not give him the opportunity to walk away from this. Though he managed to hold back any outward reaction to the comment about making her sing louder, he could feel his anger growing and had to focus his attention on telling himself that that was exactly what Gisborne wanted.
Unfortunately, all thoughts of controlling his temper fled the second he mentioned Marian, and without another coherent thought he threw himself at Gisborne with a yell, knocking his sword aside as his body slammed in to the other man's, throwing them both to the ground.
