Bella stepped back, out of the doorway, as the woman walked past. As much as she wanted to see Jake, she didn't really want to hang around the cabin any more. Sonya unnerved her, and she'd be able to breath more easily again once she was back outside.
"Thanks," Bella mumbled, moving back to the front door. "I think I'll just go look for him." She didn't want to appear rude, but hanging around down here would just be a little too weird. The whole reason she liked being around Jake was that she could relax and be herself. With Sonya around, and no Jake here, that wouldn't happen. She was already feeling tense.
"I guess I'll see you around," she said after a moment, looking over at the woman and forcing a small smile before letting herself out of the door.
Once outside, she gave a littl sigh, her eyes fluttering shut for a second, before starting off back towards her cabin.
