She had a nice smile. That had always been something he'd noticed quickly with women. Their eyes, their smiles. Of course, hair colour, their finer physical attributes...it all came together, really. But a good smile was key.

The feel of the claw sliding up under her skin felt strange, and he wondered if it would hurt. It couldn't not. Still, she said she healed, so it had to hurt every time. She'd be used to it.
