He couldn't help but grin as she told what the story was about. He glanced up at the tree's massive wide spread branches. "Well there's no magic place in this tree, but hey, you never know if we'll find one or not. This place is kinda kookie. And then there's back home, who would have guessed there were really Vampires and Werewolves and shape shifters?" If he was real then why couldn't all that other stuff be real too? Why couldn't fairy's exist, why couldn't leprechauns? Though the story did sound a little 'Keebler Elf' like. He wasn't about to voice that to her.
He ran his hand up and down her back a bit. Before dropping a harmless little kiss on the top of her head. He wondered if her vamp ever showed up if he'd still be able to show this sort of affection toward her. Or if she'd turn it away. He hoped it wasn't the ladder.
