Dean looked at him with suspicion in his eyes. Yeah, it all sounded simple. Way too simple and if there was one lesson that Dean had learned, it was that nothing was ever simple. Not even a damned one-night-stand. He was expecting…hoping…that Cas would pop up any second and sort all this out. Cas had a nasty habit of going AWOL, but he had an equally good habit of appearing when he was most needed. This time though, it looking like was being true to form so he was left with the mysterious Angel.
He leaned against the wall, arms folded, and looked Angel up and down. “This is all tied in with the apocalypse…right? This girl some kind of prophet or something.” He thought it might make a bit of sense. If she was important to either side then of course she’d be in danger. And as pissed off as this made him, he knew from past experience there was no point in fighting it or trying to get out – the angels would let him go when they were good and ready.
