Shoving her hands in the pockets of her jeans, she leaned back against a nearby tree trunk to stop herself tripping over anything else. "I...don't know," she shrugged, looking down at her feet as she thought about it. "I try not to argue a lot." The last real argument she and Edward had had was right back when he left for Italy, and even then it wasn't much of an argument. He just told her he was leaving and ignored her protests.
Jacob was more volatile, and she'd had a couple of disagreements with him; however, both times she could remember, it just resulted in him ignoring her phone calls. "I guess I just spend some time alone." A lot of time when Edward left... Months, in fact.
