WHO: Catherine and OPEN WHEN: Early evening, just after Catherine arrives at Ridgeway WHERE: Cabin 001 WHAT: Catherine tries to find where she'd supposed to be staying STATUS: Incomplete RATING: TBD, probably not very high
Cathy approached the cabin cautiously, her red shawl pulled tight around her. It wasn't a particularly warm evening, and she was looking forward to being inside, even if it was in one of these small wooden buildings. She'd never seen anything of the like. They had a fair few strange building up on the moors, but these little wooden huts were certainly new to her.
Cathy frowned to herself. She prided herself on being brave and sturdy of nature, not like some of the other girls she knew. So she was in the future, in a strange place, away from everything she knew, but she would cope. If this was Isabella, or Hindley's late wife Frances, they'd both be wrecks by now, but Cathy knew she was made of stronger stuff than that. She'd get inside and assess the situation then. She knew how to work the modern contraption on which she had talked to Leah, Robin and Marian now. She could always go back to the hotel in the morning if she needed to, and ask for help again. She didn't want to though. She didn't like feelign weak. Still, there was a part of her that just wanted Heathcliff here. She could do anything when Heathcliff was at her side. She looked down at the engagement ring on her left hand. Heathcliff was gone, and now she was stuck here. She would have to rely on herself.
Walking up to the door of the cabin marked 001, Cathy pushed on the door. It didn't budge. She sighed. This was just her luck. How was she supposed to get in?! She looked at the door for a key hole. There was a little squiggly opening; what sort of key would fit it, she had no idea. Rolling her eyes, she frowned. Perhaps there was someone inside. She gave a soft knock on the door, no idea of who she might find.
