Eliot propped his head up on his hand, leaning against the bar top. His other hand found the bottle cap again and he tapped it twice on the counter before running it through his fingers. "Sorry to hear it. She doesn't sound like much of a best friend." He didn't pry further. It wasn't his business, unless she offered more information. That and even with two sisters, it sounded like the kind of business he kept clear of.
"I doubt it." He took another drink before the bottle was set back down with a sharp tap. "You must be interesting for some reason." He smirked, devoid of humor. "We're here because people find our lives entertaining."
