He just held her closer as the crying continued, arms tightening around her. Right now he didn't care if anyone thought it wasn't right for them to be this close. She needed someone to be there for her. Though he hadn't known her for long, it wasn't hard to see that she spent the majority of her time comforting and helping others. And in this place, he wasn't sure if she'd had anyone there to look after her.
"It's not fair, is it?" He said quietly. It was more of a rhetorical question. "We've been brought here, expected to just leave our lives and the people we love behind." And it was worse for her. He had Marian. And like she'd said to him, who did she have? But that didn't matter. Because even though it might not have been in the way that she wanted, she had him. She didn't have to be alone.
