Surprisingly she didn't want him to leave. Well, maybe it wasn't to much of a surprise. She liked being in his company before everything had gone so very horribly wrong.
She cared about him, probably much more than she should, but none the less he'd worked his way in to her heart. Maybe that was why it was so easy for him to hurt her. Though to be honest she didn't have much of a wall up to keep people out. If one even existed. She was more guarded with women than she was with men, she'd been betrayed to many times by women that were supposed to be her friends. That was the only barrier she had to protect herself.
"No, I don't want you to go." She paused compressing her lips. His request was an easy one. In almost a disgruntled way she cut her eyes to him. She wasn't sure what he could see between the light of the moon, and the dim light of the equipment rental. Her eyes were red rimmed, her nose was rosy, her cheeks were splotchy.
