He laughed at that, moving to sit beside her on the end of the dock, legs hanging over the edge. The worst part about this whole thing was that even now, he could still feel that temptation brought on by this strange new spell they all seemed to be under. But whilst it might make them feel good now, in the long run it would just make things worse. Especially for her.
"I'm still having trouble reading clocks?" He offered up, phrased like a question and in the most innocent tone he could manage. It was a complete lie, but he hoped to at least keep her smiling, even if her tease had been without much humour.
