Sam laughed a little when she went with the French. "Um, un peu. Un tres petit peu," A bit. A very little bit, he said. "I'm learning. I figured it'd be a nice way for us to communicate without many people here being able to understand," he offered with a bit of a grin, watching as her hand reached up to lock the door. Really, simple actions like that shouldn't have gotten to him like they did, but whatever this was coming over the whole resort was making him crazy.
She approached him, stepped into him and he breathed in deeply, bringing a hand up and touching it to her cheek, sliding his thumb along the soft, pale flesh underneath it. She touched him in return and he brushed his cheek along her palm, smiling at her as he leaned down to press his lips to hers.
When she trailed off and looked away from him, he cleared his throat and nodded. "Me too," he said simply, wondering if he had figured out where she was going with that. Hoping he wasn't totally off base.
He'd wanted it since they'd first seen each other. Since the first time they'd talked face-to-face. In a way, he was sort of thankful for this, whatever it was, for giving him the courage to actually do it. His hand found its way to the small of her back and he pulled her closer to him - but gently, so that she could get away if need be. He may have been going insane, but he would never take anything from her that she wasn't willing to give.
