She couldn't help but scrunch her nose at that little revelation. It meant she'd have to climb up on the roof, but it beat climbing up in the attic, or in the crawlspace under the cabin. She followed Bella up to the landing. Kneeling down she brushed her fingers over the wet spot on the floor, the hardwood was starting to warp too. "I'm glad you said something. It's minor fix now, but it would a been worse once the weather let up." Glancing up she squinted at the skylight.
She stood up straight. "Hey don't worry about the towel just yet... I'm going to have to seal up the outside before I seal up the inside. Just keep an ear out for a squeal or a sudden 'Oh my god help' just in case I slip. Or the ladder falls or something equally awkward and dumb that's liable to happen." She hadn't brought anything for the floor, not even a hot air gun to dry it a bit quicker. Oh well, that fix would have to wait. It might not even be bad enough to be fixed.
