Who: Heather and Robin Where: Outside Heather's place, then a walk somewhere or other When: Some time during the day What: Walking. And talking.
Heather had seemed to think it strange that he would prefer talking to her in person, from her response. But he found it more difficult trying to convey his feelings via the phone. And just as difficult to understand what other people were really meaning. He was too used to reading peoples body language and expressions. So much more was said that way, or it was as far as he was concerned, at any rate. And when it came to answering someone's questions regarding his feelings for Marian, there was no way he felt comfortable simply typing those words. It was too important, and too complicated, besides.
There had been an assortment of clothes he was not familiar with in the cupboard in the room he shared with Marian, presumably from when he had been here before. And given he had arrived in clothes that were more than a little travel worn, he was happy to give them up in favour of cleaner, and newer ones. And the green top with the hood was not too dissimilar from his own anyway. It was clear who had picked it out, whenever it had been. The little white dog, Much, followed close at his heels as he walked over to Heather's. The ridiculously furry little animal was beginning to grow on him. Not that he could get rid of him if his opinion was any different.
