He smiled softly at her, and looked around, but not seeing a towel, stripped off his shirt without hesitation and settled it at her feet, nudging her legs apart. He offered her a smile, warmer and confident, and nodded. "No worries. I've got this. I've delivered babies before. I wont let you down, Julie."
Part of him was terrified, and part of him was worried, but the rest of him stuffed those parts away and he concentrated on her, eyes bright and nodded again. He reached out and gripped one of her hands. "You aren't alone. I'll get you and your child through this. I promise."
His cheeks did flush a little as he glanced at her pants, then up at her. This was definitely not the way he had hoped to see her body. "Will you let me help you?"
