Anna was also looking for answers. She was looking for Petersen. And for the moment, she was forcing herself to remain calm. If she flew at Petersen all teeth and claws, it was only going to get worse. It always got worse. And she knew better than to do that right now. She had been feeling better, had been getting better, more stable. But now... well, it was probably the massive amounts of prozac in her system that was keeping her from flying off the handle... but who knew how long that would last.
Especially considering the first person she saw on her trek to track down Petersen was the one person she wanted to avoid right now. She'd be happy to see anyone else, even Crowley, right now. Not him. Not like this.
There was a minute or two, as they neared each other, that Anna was just outright staring. She could see and feel every single little difference and every one of them made her heart ache. But as soon as she realized she was staring, eyes probably filling with tears, she dropped her gaze and picked up her pace. She couldn't talk to him right now, couldn't handle it.
