He glanced up at her before his gaze moved back to the TV. Normally, what she was saying would get some kind of smart comment, at a bolstering of his ego. "You don't always think that. I can recall plenty of times you've thought I was probably the worst man one could ever be." And she'd said similar, just as he'd said non complimentary things about her.
