Anna could see a lot more of Cas in Aiden than Dean, honestly. Maybe that's why he was closest to Dean. Or maybe it was the bond they'd formed early on. But just watching the way he handled himself and his emotions reminded her of how Castiel handled things. She wasn't sure yet if that was a good thing or a bad thing, but she was certainly relieved that the comparison to Crowley stopped at his appearance. Which technically wasn't even Crowley, just a vessel he'd picked up.
"It'll be a good Christmas, Aiden. I'll make sure it turns out okay for you... both of you." Anna shifted the baby in her arms, he stirred and then drifted off again. She had no idea how she was going to make it work out, but standing here in front of him with the idea that it would be disappointing for him was heartbreaking.
