"Yeah." Aiden nodded. As long as he didn't think about that time he'd kissed her, and then run away. He'd avoided her for more than a week, after that, and then when he finally saw her again, they both acted like nothing had happened.
"She's my best friend." She accepted him the way he was. Sure she harassed him, poked and prodded him, and she got away with it. Aiden had a hell of a temper, likely inherited from his father.
