Gabriel had never been to tired. Not even for any of the time he had been human. His whole body ached, his eye lids seemed to be glued to each other but he'd been faking it for Laura. He pretended as long as he could but he could have sang in relief when Robin offered to recharge him. There was no way he was going to ask Petersen. He'd already decided he'd rather fade away to nothing that ask his former friend for help. Gabriel had nothing left for that man and trust was right at the bottom of the list.
He tried not to think on him as he waited for Robin. He rubbed his forehead, his head was aching. His head was aching. It was a weird kind of new. After Laura and her son had left he had settled himself on the couch. He chewed slowly at a chocolate bar and waited, calmly, for his friend.
