Anna was half up the stairs by the time Cas reached her. She threw her arms around him as tightly as she could, nearly knocking them both down the stairs. She felt herself sway and fall up the stairs on top of him, but she didn't care. The last thing she could remember was hearing him scream, watching the echoed of what they'd done to him in Heaven, unable to separate reality from the memories.
Her fingers dug into his skin probably harder than necessary. She had a few minor injuries, a few not so minor. There were gaping wounds on her shoulder-blades (again, now that she could remember having her wings ripped out here) where her siblings had tried to teach her that she wasn't as human as she pretended to be. And one of her wrists was broken, as well as most of the bones in that hand. She just ignored them in favor of clinging to Cas. "You're okay. Are you okay? You're okay?" She was louder than she should have been, being that close to him, but she still wasn't thinking clearly.
